Free companion tickets

Please note that to book free companion tickets online, you will first need to contact our Sales and Events team by calling 0121 446 3232 or visiting us in person at our Welcome Desk.

You only need to do this once - when we have updated your account preferences we won’t have to repeat this part of the process. The free companion ticket feature will apply to all future bookings.

If you need more than one companion, let us know when you contact us and we can add the correct number of free companion tickets to your account.

Please note - companion tickets will initially show a standard ticket price, but once your account is set-up and you are logged in, this will be reduced to £0 at checkout.

Booking free companion tickets

Once we have enabled the 'free companion ticket' feature on your account, you will be able to book these tickets yourself online.

The process is slightly different depending on if the event you are booking tickets for has reserved or unreserved seating:

Reserved seating events

1. Log into your account
2. Search for your event and click Book tickets / Book now
3. Choose your seats on the seat map and click Continue
4. On the next screen you will need to choose one Accessible / Disabled ticket and one Companion ticket from the drop-down lists before clicking Continue
5. On the next page, the price will now show a saving for 1 companion ticket
6. Complete your booking as normal

Unreserved seating events

1. Log into your account

2. Search for your event and click Book tickets / Book now

3. Enter 1 into the Accessible / Disabled ticket box and 1 into the Companion ticket box before clicking Continue.

4. On the next page, the price will now show a saving for 1 companion ticket.

5. Complete your booking as normal.
