About Brum On The Box with Janice Connolly

Every year, the Square Eyes festival digs into the archives and roots out plenty of brilliant, random and often very strange footage from the long and curious history of Midlands television - from uncomfortable interviews on Pebble Mill at One to a quiz show based around doing dot-to-dots.

And who better to join regular host Chris Beanland this year than Birmingham’s own Janice Connolly, whose career has alternated between live stand-up and television, often in the form of her alter-ego Mrs Barbara Nice. Together the pair will be presenting clips and chatting everything Brum (and beyond) as they reminisce about the good, the bad and the just plain ugly of Midlands TV.
