Two young women in period dress peer through the panes of a white-framed window, seen from outside. On the left, a woman with dark wavy hair looks out with a calm, direct gaze. On the right, another woman with dark hair pressed close to the glass has a tense, worried expression, her brow furrowed and mouth slightly open. A curtain is visible behind them in the dim interior.

About Cinema Bambino: Sense & Sensibility

Experience a story of love, family, and sisterhood with this brand new adaptation of Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility from acclaimed director Georgia Oakley (Blue Jean).

Sense and Sensibility follows the three Dashwood sisters, who must leave their family estate and move to a cottage with their widowed mother. This chapter of their life brings new love interests for the elder Dashwood sisters - Elinor (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and Marianne (Esmé Creed-Miles) - forcing the young women to learn how to navigate through love and loss.
