About Doctors: A Celebration

Set in the fictional West Midlands town of Letheridge, BBC daytime soap Doctors has slowly but steadily built a devoted audience since its first episode aired in the year 2000. Which makes the recent decision to axe the long running series a bitter pill to swallow, with its very final episode set to air this December.

As it nears the end, this Royal Television Society event is a chance to celebrate a uniquely Midlands series. In between clips, members of the cast and crew will be chatting about their experiences on the series, one which over the years has given roles to the likes of Eddie Redmayne, Sheridan Smith and Emilia Clarke, as well as tackling hard-hitting topics such as sexual assault, homelessness and abortion.

Tickets available soon via the Royal Television Society.
