About Film Stories presents Bulk + Q&A

Cult director Ben Wheatley (Kill List, Sightseers) returns to his indie roots with this bizarre and hilarious sci-fi nightmare fusing head scrambling multiverses, brilliantly unhinged lo-fi special effects, and a conspiracy of global proportions that might mean the end of the world as we know it.

When an overzealous scientist pushes his experiments with string theory too far, his brane explodes. That’s ‘brane’, not ‘brain’. Our hero Corey Harlan (Sam Riley) is sent in to find the heart of the brane and its creator Anton Chambers, which has now manifested as a normal townhouse. This is a house where opening a door from one room to another can lead you to other worlds. Not just the kitchen.

The screening will be followed by a live onstage Q&A with director Ben Wheatley. Hosted by Film Stories editor Simon Brew.
