Lee Miller (played by Kate Winslet) sits in a dark room, her fingers tapping away at a typewriter. She looks up to her right, a cigarette dangling out of her mouth.

About Lee

Oscar winner Kate Winslet stars in this fascinating portrait of the great American war correspondent Lee Miller, whose singular talent gave us some of the 20th century’s most indelible images. Determined to document the truth of the Nazi regime, and in spite of the odds stacked against female correspondents, Lee captured some of the most important images of World War II, for which she paid an enormous personal price.

Featuring superb supporting turns from Marion Cotillard, Andrea Riseborough, and Noémie Merlant, the film is a vivid reminder of the bold women who fought to penetrate male-dominated spaces and ultimately changed the way we see the world.
