A man and woman in their thirties sit up in bed together, a quilted duvet draped over them. They are both smiling at each other. To the left is a large window looking out on a harbour.

About Oslo Stories Trilogy: Love

If you book all three films in the Oslo Stories Trilogy (Dreams, Love and Sex) you can see them for the special price of £30, which is automatically applied at checkout.

In Love, Haugerud explores the sexual freedom experienced by a gay nurse and the more conventional constraints his straight colleague encounters. Neither wants to be bound by societal norms, but whilst one can seemingly live a carefree existence, for women the realities are far more complex.

The Oslo Stories Trilogy is an ambitious set of films from novelist-turned-filmmaker Dag Johan Haugerud, contemplating romance, intimacy, and desire in contemporary Norway. Witty, gentle and eye-opening, Haugerud charts a full investigation on what contemporary love means.
