About Oxide Ghosts: The Brass Eye Tapes + Q&A

Director Michael Cumming is a legend of British televisual comedy whose back catalogue includes Rock Profile, Toast Of London, Snuff Box and Brass Eye. He’s also something of a patron saint for the Square Eyes TV Festival, so we’re very pleased to welcome him back this year for a rare screening of his cult film Oxide Ghosts.

Unavailable online, Oxide Ghosts is made up of hundreds of hours of unseen and behind the scenes footage from Michael’s personal archive, sharing insights into the process of making the game-changing TV series Brass Eye. Michael directed the series and both pilots, so he knows his Clarky Cat from his yellow Bentines. Just keep your fingers crossed you don’t end up like a bloody piano dentist.
