A poster for the mystery/thriller series Widow's Bay, illustrated in a moody painted style. A large central portrait of a stern man in a dark coat looms above an ensemble cast of smaller character portraits — including a woman with dark hair, an older woman, a young man in glasses, a bearded man in a cap, and a man in a wide-brimmed sheriff's hat with a badge. Below them, a small coastal town with a lighthouse, church steeple, and houses sits along a rocky shoreline, set against a stormy, cloud-filled sky. A lone silhouetted figure stands on the water in the distance.

About Widow’s Bay quiz + screening

Pop culture connoisseur Whatever Pays the Rent is back to host another creative quiz as part of the Square Eyes TV Festival, this time based around the multi Emmy nominated US comedy-horror series Widows Bay.

Premiering back in April, Widow’s Bay is the brainchild of Katie Dippold, who has mastered the very tricky art of blending genuine scares with genuine laughs. Matthew Rhys stars as the mayor of a New England town who resolves to turn it into the next tourist hot spot, despite local warnings that it's cursed, resulting in the most talked about TV series of the year.

Test your knowledge of the next Martha’s Vineyard and enjoy a sunset cocktail in our Kiln restaurant, then head into the cinema for a special Widow's Bay screening.
