About Well Crafty Art and Theatre (CH23 Autumn)

Calling all creative kids! Do you love making art and being crafty? Want want to learn about drama and put on a show all while having fun, then this is the course for you!

What will you learn on this course?

Children on this course will learn new art, craft, and drama skills, all while having lots of fun and making new friends.

Each week, participants will learn about different arts and crafts such as how to make puppets and bring them to life, and will discover how to devise a performance and make costumes and a stage set.

Every session will begin with fun drama exercises and a warmup. Weather permitting, some sessions may take place in MAC’s pocket garden or around Cannon Hill Park to allow the children to get out, enjoy the fresh air, and be inspired by nature!

The course will help create confidence, wellbeing, social skills and resilience. All activities will be tailored to fit each child’s needs and personality.

At the end of the term, the group will put together a performance for family to showcase everything they have created and discovered during the course.
