As part of the Spirit of Pakistan Festival, we are delighted to present a special conversation with Nahid Siddiqui, one of the world's most celebrated Kathak dancers and a pioneering figure in South Asian classical dance. 

Born in Pakistan and trained within the traditional guru-shishya system, Nahid has spent decades preserving, developing and promoting the art of Kathak, earning international acclaim for her artistry, innovation and dedication to cultural expression.

Now based in Birmingham, her influence extends far beyond the stage. Through her teaching and choreography, she has inspired generations of dancers and helped shape the future of classical dance in the UK and internationally.

In this intimate conversation, Nahid will reflect on her remarkable life and career, sharing insights into her artistic journey, creative vision and enduring legacy as a performer, teacher and cultural ambassador.
