Every Child

Nurturing the next generation of artists and audiences

When MAC first opened in 1962, it was called "The Midlands Arts Centre for Children and Young People." Every day since, enriching the lives of young people through the arts has been at the heart of what we do. With the incredible support of our audiences, we welcome thousands of children and their families to participate in creative activities that inspire, empower, and educate. However, there are children in our community who are unable to access these opportunities.

MAC's Every Child campaign gives free tickets, activities, and course places to young people who would not normally be able to participate at MAC. Right now, there are over 100,000 children living in poverty in Birmingham. Now, more than ever, your support makes a huge impact to help children nurture their creativity, build friendships, and express what they're going through.

If you, like us, believe that every child deserves access to the arts regardless of their circumstances or background, please consider donating today. Just £10, or whatever you can contribute, could gift an opportunity for a child that transforms their life long into the future.
