A charming illustration depicting a warm, whimsical scene of an elderly woman artist in her studio, shown in a lovely pastel color palette. She's wearing glasses and a green collar over a purple dress, holding both a paintbrush and a painter's palette as she works at her easel. There is also a miniature orchestra of tiny musicians sitting on her table in the foreground. These little figures are dressed formally and playing various classical instruments including what appears to be a harp, string instruments, and a cello. They seem to be providing musical accompaniment while she paints, creating a magical, fantastical atmosphere.

About Colour Box: Snap, Crackle and Shorts

Kick off your Saturday with a selection of short films and cereal! We have a great selection of films from across the globe introducing you to a wide range of film making styles.

What are short films? A film under 30 mins (in our case they will mostly be around the 10 minute mark) often used to explore experimental storytelling, and create powerful artistic expressions in a condensed format. But mainly they’re usually a bit crazy and a lot of fun.

During the screening we will have interactive breaks, and most importantly, there will be cereal!
