About Mothers' Instinct

A taut, stylish and unnerving psychological thriller, Mothers’ Instinct is the directorial debut of acclaimed cinematographer Benoit Delhomme.

In Mad Men-esque 1960s America, suburban housewives and best friends Alice (Jessica Chastain) and Céline (Anne Hathaway) seem to have it all. But when a tragic accident shatters the harmony of their lives, guilt, suspicion and paranoia begin to unravel their sisterly bond and a gripping battle of wills develops, revealing the darker side of friendship and maternal love.
