About Quintessentially Irish + Q&A

A love letter to all things great and Irish with a distinguished cast including a former 007 heart-throb, two Presidents, a Prince and an eccentric Irish Lord. Director Frank Mannion takes a scenic tour of Ireland’s most beautiful sights, exploring the origins of whiskey, Guinness, horse racing and visiting Ireland’s oldest inhabited castle at Dunsany.

Why do the Irish celebrate St Patrick when he was Welsh? Did the Irish invent whiskey before the Scots? Why did James Joyce only have a British passport? How did the Irishman Pierce Brosnan come to play the English spy, James Bond? And why do so many Presidents from JFK to Joe Biden claim Irish heritage?

The screening will be followed by a live onstage Q&A with director Frank Mannion.
