For loons summoned by the clicking of a lighter in Saskatchewan who refuse to leave the cottage, Square Eyes presents The Art of Heated Rivalry - a celebration of everyone’s favourite hockey romance, one which has spawned a thousand memes, turned Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams into superstars and taught a lot of straight women that their sexuality is actually ‘gay guy’.

In this unique event, visual culture historian and Heated Rivalry superfan Sabina Stent will explore all things Shane and Ilya as we examine our new favourite show through the prisms of costume design, scene analysis and art history.
