Family Colourful Craft (FA93)
CoursesAbout Family Colourful Craft (FA93)
Inspired by our colourful new Made at MAC exhibition, take part in a range of craft activities as a family.
What will you learn on this course?
Working with Metal, on display in the Made at MAC Gallery, showcases the skills of tutors and participants who take part in our stained glass and jewellery courses.
The workshop will begin with a guided visit to the exhibition. Using beautiful colours, patterns and materials, our learners have made some wonderful artworks to use as inspiration for your own work.
You’ll then get hands on with a variety of activities creating faux stained glass pictures using tissue paper and jewellery from recycled materials. Pick from a wide variety of materials and templates offering simple but affective finishes. You’ll work at your own pace, trying all the different activities in your own time, aided by our experienced artist tutor.
Our family workshops are designed to allow adults and children to make side by side with all encouraged to get stuck in! You will leave with a number of creations to take home.
Please note, to keep things safe for little hands we won’t be working with real glass in this workshop.
