Inspired by our Surreal Creatures Trail and our exhibitions exploring surrealist artists, including Emmy Bridgwater and the Birmingham Surrealists and Surreal Solihull, join professional puppeteer Lori Hopkins and make your own surreal shadow puppet creature.

Explore the ancient art of shadow puppetry with a contemporary twist - design, build and animate your creation before taking it home with you at the end of the session. 

Children must be supported by a parent or guardian and be able to use scissors safely.
